About Me
At the core of my work in Pregnancy, Birth and Postpartum care is my belief that every person experiencing these life events has the right to:
- Feel supported.
- Be treated with dignity, respect and compassion.
- Have access to accurate information.
- Be central to any decision-making process regarding the care that they receive.
My passion is providing support to, and creating community amongst, people experiencing the significant life changes that come with pregnancy, birth and caring for a new baby.
I am a mother to two children, one born in hospital and one at home.
I completed my professional doula training after the birth of my first child.
I am a childbirth educator, certified through the International Childbirth Educaction Association (ICEA).
I am experienced in postpartum care and am currently in the process of completing the required hours to gain full certification as a PPCP.
